Hi all,
I have an interview for the above position soon and I would like any input about what kind of questions might be asked?
Also, how would you rate the job?
Thanks a bunch

I applied for the most recent announcement (GS9 this time around) and really hoping to get picked up for the Tampa location. I went through the entire process a few years ago for GS5 and was offered the job and everything.

Panel interview, reference check, drug test, background check is about equivalent to a Top Secret but you don't actually carry a security clearance. The process took quite awhile for me but my hiring also took place during the pandemic.

I find that most people that apply for the position usually accept upon being hired.

Living in Chicago by myself on GS5 salary wasn’t gonna work.

What is there to expect on the panel interview? Thanks

Process for me took just over a year but I started right before Covid-19 hit. The questions for me centered around experiences such as tell us about a time you did this or why you would be good fit etc etc. Each panelist engaged. I don't remember it being many questions or too long. It seemed like a straight forward interview with no curve balls. Like a previous poster said, nothing real unique about it.

Does anyone have any updates on this position? I applied and was referred for two advertisements back in April but was never contacted and now I see a new advertisement for the same area I have applied for twice. I am currently a government employee so I know it is a process but has anyone else seen any movement with their application?

Was wondering if anyone else applied to the recent vacancies CBP had or if they had heard back about referrals yet
