I had surgery on my shoulder a while ago. About two weeks after going through medical, my FO contacted me with follow-up forms that required my surgeon to certify my ability to perform strenuous activity without limitation, yada yada. Once I submitted the forms back to the FO, I haven't heard anything. Based on what I've read, it sounds like it varies from FO to FO as to whether or not they'll inform an applicant that he/she's actually passed. (Shocking...)

Thanks. I’ve some say they got follow-up questions a couple days later, so I’m just trying to find an average.

Mine came from the administration assistant at my LFO who scanned in a letter sent from HQ.

Oh ok. So you switched Field Offices in the middle of your process?

Nope, same field office.

Medical files are not reviewed by your field office, they are all sent to HQ.

Ok cool. So I’m still in the timeframe to hear something. My medical was a week ago.

I’m missing a few shots so they told me to just fax or scan the details/results and send them directly to my applicant coordinator HR person. They were very clear that the FBI won’t reach out to tell you what you’re missing or need to do so it’s best to just contact your HR person

I was asked to provide a statement on my monthly alcohol consumption that I sent via email. I was never told I had cleared medical until I followed up with my AC about 1.5 months later.

I’m about 2 and a half weeks post medics and I have yet to receive any information whether I’m cleared or any follow ups. My background is cleared medical was my last hurdle.

I'm actually over a month with no word on medical. I have read other places where people never received official notice of being cleared by medical. No news is good news. Considering your background is cleared you might want to reach out to your HR person or AC. How long did your background take? Surprised that was done prior to medical.

Reach out to your medical point of contact for a status update. If you clear it's like 50/50 they actually tell you without you asking.

Who would I reach out to? I've reached out to my AC and I've just been told "I'm still pending medical." I cleared background last month, and completed my medical appointment mid april, but have gotten no word about if any followups or anything is necessary. Just "pending medical"
