@polisciguy, After reading all 84 pages here and some of the past years, I did think some of it went fast. For instance, I didn't expect to be scheduled for a medical prior to finishing poly and having a result to the poly within 24 hrs. My AC mentioned that backgrounds are taking about 3 months.... which may be wishful thinking. I know things happen and stuff naturally stalls. My timeline is below, but my background took less than 3 months. So much better than the 6-8 months I had been expecting after reading other posts. I passed my PFT this morning and my portal updated to "Pending Final Offer" but my AC told me this morning that there are at least 10+ people in front of me from just my FO (midwestern city) so they were expecting I'd get a spot sometime in the Spring to maybe even next Summer. Here's my timeline so far: Apply: 01/05/21 Ph I: 02/10/21 M&G (group): 03/19/21 M&G (individual): 03/24/21 Ph II (W): 04/24/21 Ph II (I): 06/15/21 Ph II Pass: 06/18/21 CAO: 07/15/21 PSI: 08/04/21 Poly: 08/20/21 Medical: 10/04/21 Green Checkmark on Background Complete: 10/04/21 PFT: 10/15/21 (pass)

Oddly, I had a date change yesterday after being in psych for 3 months and my Complete Polygraph green check went away and my status reverted from Schedule PFT to Pending-Polygraph. SHRUG Edited by user Friday, October 15, 2021 12:42:50 PM(UTC)

Question for you, NGP. Have you reached out to your contact? I was told to if I didn't hear anything in a month. From my understanding, the green check marks are not always clear and are only accurate if your office is on top of it. @annino- Is being in "psych" more than the poly?

Yes psych is after poly and after contacts are interviewed

Has anyone here had to be cleared for a major medical event/surgery? If so, how long did that take after submitting all original and follow-up medical documentation? I'm hoping it's not as much of a black hole as psych... Additionally, did your contact provide you with a rough idea of your class date after you were medically cleared? Hey everyone. Just got word from my AC that HQ has made the next classes December 5th and February 13th. I know we heard rumors about a January 30th class but it’ll be February 13th. Just wanted to update everyone. She also added that the class roster has not been chosen yet for the December 5th class. Hope this helps. |
