Where does everyone stand on vaccinations? I get a feeling this will make a difference on Dec/Jan Q dates.
I am fully vaccinated - just FYI.

Got the call today. Was offered a spot in the February 27th class (so January is probably full). I was given the option of selecting April 24th or June also, so I'll be heading to Quantico in April 2022. |
Applied - 01/2020 P1 - 2/20 P2 - 3/20 P3 - 12/20 PSI - 03/2021 Poly - 4/21 Ref.Contacted - 8/21 Adj - 10/21 Quantico - 4/22

Freelocke, Congrats. From what you've seen on here or heard, are most Q dates several months after adjudication?
Does anyone know about duty station locations? The only thing I've seen is most new IA's go to HQ.
I recently had my security interview and poly.

Congrats, FreeLocke! I'm from the 2018 group, but am also going to Q in April.
Navy, when I got the call, Ms. Tamburrino said they aren't really putting new IAs at HQ, and she asked me what my top three location preferences would be. I'm assuming you still get to rank the field offices at Q, though. |

HR told me the Bureau tries their best to assign you close to your spouse's duty station. Has anyone heard hardships for IA's?

If someone is still scheduled for January I’d be curious to know! |

You will rank all the field offices when you get to Quantico, and they will assign you based on where openings are at that time. Hardships for IAs are possible, though not guaranteed.

I was a little confused that she asked because I know we rank in preferences in week five, but hopefully it has some weight because I'm dying to get Tampa lol. |

Congrats, Freelocke!
Your process went so fast! I'm from the 2018 bunch and still waiting....
I lived overseas and accepted my CJO before the pandemic hit.
What do you think made your background go by so quickly? |

What do you think made your background go by so quickly? Thanks! I spent a semester studying abroad in a country that I figured might cause some trouble and lengthen the process, but aside from that, I applied senior year of college so I think that made it a lot easier for them to get through verifying my history and experiences and everything. |

Has anyone heard any word about a 2021 announcement? I started an "IA 2021" thread a long time ago to get people's thoughts, and one or two people said they heard it was dropping in November.

Like you, however, I've been anticipating a November posting. I'm hopeful that something gets released soon so we can get the ball rolling on testing and the lengthy process.
