Quick check in. I haven't heard anything yet. It has been 2.5 weeks since I had my interview.

Hello all, finally got the email today and it was a no go on my end. I'm rather shocked to be honest since I am practically already (80%) doing the job that I applied for and the interview went well (I am on the hiring team at my current job, so the questions I was asked were your standard questions that would be asked as you all know) but it is what it is. As you also know, they don't really tell you the reasons why. Wish all of you that are in the process good luck. Signing off :) Edited by user Friday, October 8, 2021 12:17:48 PM(UTC)

Better to find out after two weeks than after two years :) |

Does anyone have any pointers or suggestions for the poly or medical screenings for possible future reference?

Sure. 32 months in with squeaky clean background and nothing other than... You guessed it: "You are actively processing".

Do people worry at all about this msg board being considered discussing details of the process?

Do you have a lot of foreign contacts/travel or something? Did you at least get to the background investigation? Just look at how long everything is taking, I doubt this lengthy process will ever shorten.

However I still think the entire hiring process shouldn't take more than 1-2 years. |

I have no foreign contacts. All my overseas travel was over 10 years ago only to a couple countries and for official government duties.
