Still waiting in background.... I've been in background since Aug 2020, so it's been over a year. I had to go to my RA back in Nov to re-sign my SF-86. They said back in Sept that my case is being expedited. No idea what that means. But I'm looking forward to seeing what everyone has to say about Q this Feb!
Applied: October 2018
P1/P2: December 2018
P3: February 2020
CJO: Feb 2020
Poly: July 2020

My poly was in the fall of 2019 and background didn't get started until December (mix-ups)... and adjudication was in the spring last year.

Some of us, for whatever reason, just take longer to get through the process! Your turn will come. Hang in there!

Any word on the existing restrictions at Q now?
No weekend travel while at Q still in place?

If you look a few pages back over in the 2021 SA thread, you’ll see that multiple people said things are back to normal in this regard (allowed to leave on weekends starting on the third weekend).

As of end of November, quarantine and weekend restrictions were lifted. But that was, of course, pre-Omicron. With case numbers at an all time high, I'm not sure about current restrictions.

Any idea if that applies only to IAs or to everyone on the roster for February?

I was under the impression that the next class began 2/13/22. Do SA applicants and IAs begim at the same time?

I’d assume just IAs since the document I was sent was specifically addressed for us.

It hasn't been separate for a long time and I don't think they would start doing it that way now. I believe everyone will start on 2/13, and I think cmar just typed the date for the FJOs wrong (2/18 instead of 1/18), right?

Oddly, no. I’m to receive my FJO by February 18, and I’m to report February 27.

Oh, that's weird then. I guess there are a couple possibilities: either IAs are starting two weeks later than SAs for some reason, or the class date has been pushed back to 2/27 for everyone and none of the SA applicants have been informed of this yet.
