Is there any particular reason you think that you had such a long period of time between your favorable adjudication and getting the call to go to Q? Did you just get unlucky with the class dates and December was full by the time you were adjudicated you think, or were you offered October or December and you needed to delay for your own reasons? Thank you! Truthfully, I was not training the way I was supposed to for the PFT (I was not training the actual test with all the events consecutively...instead, I was foolishly training the events as individual exercises and underestimated how exhausted I would be for the run, ending me in a position of needing to retake it) which is why I ultimately did not get an offer for December. All of that aside, October was never offered to me. Hope that helps!

Anyone have a good estimate on how long it takes for there to be available dates for Phase II Interviews? My AC let me know it can take some time between invite to the Phase II Interview and when dates are available for sign up on the portal, but was curious if anyone had any indication of how long that can take?

I did phase II twice. The first time it was about 2 weeks. The second time it was 3 and half months. I was told most field offices do the interviews about 4 times a year so it all depends on the timing and luck of the draw.

I think it's just that feeling that it isn't over till it over, meaning until the FO is signed anything can happen. Even though the Applicant Coordinator has already said it's a done deal.

Trust me, I've BEEN THERE haha. It's such an agonizing wait for that final piece of paper. But it comes - don't worry

Hey all! Quick question regarding Medical:
I went through Medical in August & just received a Psych request a few weeks back that I responded to & provided all requested documents for.
I noticed the DEA combed my VA Disability packet very thoroughly and asked for lots of clarification / more forms to be filled out on generally trivial stuff.
FBI hasn't asked anything else and as far as I know the physical went well. Should I expect any surprises aside from psych? |

Long time reader, first time poster. Just had a quick question in reference to the background investigation. I passed my polygraph on 10/04/21, and got notified my background investigation began. Credit pulled, references, neighbors, employers, spouse contacted, etc. On 01/18/22, the individual who conducted my PSI contacted me for some information that got erased on my initial PSI. He related that my background was being reviewed by HQ. Today my date changed and background investigation has a green check mark. Does that indicate it officially done and submitted for adjudication? Or that adjudication has been completed.
Thanks in advance!

Has anyone cleared Psych recently that can touch on how long it took? I submitted my fairly straightforward documentation to them back in October. It’s frustrating that being in Psych seems to fully pause your background investigation, why not do them at the same time? Now I’m stuck in a place where half my references (including my employer) were contacted months ago, but then all movement stopped with no sign of resuming any time soon.

Thanks in advance! I, too, am interested in the answer to this. My AC never officially notified me with a call or email that I had been cleared for hire after I got the green check mark and had a status change to "Pending Final Offer"; she only reached out to confirm class dates, at which time she was able to confirm (when I asked) that I had been cleared. Not everyone gets a call/email that they have been adjudicated. That said, it's not unreasonable to assume that you've been adjudicated if your status changes to "Pending Final Offer". When I was in psych I checked in with them every 2 weeks. I think that may have helped me. I was in psych for a month and a half.
