DHS
The Department of Homeland Security has a vital mission: to secure the nation from the many threats we face. This requires the dedication of more than 230,000 employees in jobs that range from aviation and border security to emergency response, from cybersecurity analyst to chemical facility inspector. [Their] duties are wide-ranging, but [their] goal is clear: keeping America safe. (source: www.dhs.gov)

I was listed as 'Best Qualified - Referred' for the legal admin. assistant and CIS assistant since mid November and have yet to hear anything... Maybe the hiring official just did not select me for an interview after being referred to the local office?

I submitted my e-QIP for an ISO position in late December, but have yet to hear absolutely anything. They haven't even contacted my references, whereas I've heard others in similar positions to me have had their interviews with an investigator set up.
Should I be concerned? If it takes too long, is it possible things could "time out" and I'd have to apply all over again?

I was just reviewing my "application status" for the latest ISO application I submitted.
On the upper right corner it says: "Onboarding" but I have not received a Tentative Offer or notification/email.
Any thoughts of what to expect and when, the way USCIS is working these days?
Thanks

It was the same for me. I had the "Onboarding" status but it took about 2-3 weeks before I heard anything from them. Along those lines, after submitting my e-QIP in late December I was finally given an Advanced EOD in mid-March. Firm offer came about 2 weeks ago.

I'm a former ISO returning to USCIS & had my background investigation adjudicated about 4 years ago. My EOD took about 4 months from Tentative Offer to Adjudication, so hopefully this time around it is shorter since they don't have to go back 10 years. Let's see. Thanks for your responses! Are you required to live around your selected service center and report to the office or will CIS hire you to work remotely as an ISO? I am a former ISO seeking to come back, I am still with DHS.

Has anyone received referrals or notifications from HROC for the ISO 1 Mass hiring announcements for the PSC (Potomac Service Center)?
They closed on 4/7/2022, (PSC-2022-0025 - US Citizens) and 4/15/2022 (PSC-2022-0026 - Status eligibles).

Mine still says Application Received. Yeah, I would've thought they'd had some kind of action/status by now... Maybe they're counting the timeframe for the second one, (closed 4/15), for both since they're the same job for the same service center. We will see... Thanks for responding!

For those who received an EOD request, after pre screening, were you contacted by an investigator or adjudicator already? I have no idea where I am in the background check but I received my select Start date email today. Just wondering what’s the next steps from here.

Is this position in Crystal City?

Is this position in Crystal City? Yes. That is the location of the PSC, (Potomac Service Center), where the positions are out of, but they are actually Remote positions: "Location Negotiable after Selection".

Hello!
Are there any new Service Center or National Benefits Center ISOs that have started recently, (within the last couple of months), on this forum?
I have some questions, one of them is if you were required to report to your Service Center on the first day or if you have been teleworking until further notice due to the Covid protocols that have been in place for a while?
You can answer here or by PM if it's better for you.
Thanks
