Is the military buyback time also included in the social security supplement? I'm in FERS and already did the mbb. I have everything else planned out, but having found a definitive answer on if the supplement includes the postal and military time.

The FERS supplement is calculated on years of civilian service only. |

I did followup with two HR personnel, one at a nearby MSC and the other at new HRSSC 800 line and both told me the mbb time, in which I made the deposit, IS included as part of my postal time and will be included in the ss supplement. They looked at my personnel record and the years on it now reflect as postal years, which includes the added military years.
