Below is the Calculator we are using to determine pay upon conversion back to GS.  Not sure if everyone will use it but figured I would put the link out there so you can get a feel for where you will be.  Enjoy.

Actually Herche, BUPERS will not be using this calculator. It will be a good gauge for employees to get a feel of where they will convert out, but we will not use this as a basis for transition

OK.  I have a question but since I fall under the healthcare provider category, the calculator doesn't apply. Here is my situation: I will begin working for the Army soon as a YG-0680-2 under the NSPS with a base salary of 125K plus a one time 25K recruitment bonus (paid over 26 pay periods).  We convert to GS probably in September at end of fiscal year. How does the recruitment bonus count towards the retention of pay if at all? any ideas?

Got my new NSPS to GS pay form today.  The calculator we "are not" using at BUPERS was exactly right down to the exact dollar amount.........
