Hi redbone341,
didn't you (and me) apply for a auditor job with HUDIG back in May or June 2013 in Philadelphia? If so, how did that go? Are you with the federal government now? Me? I'm still looking.

That's a pretty good turnaround. What's the series, location? Did you have to interview?

When asked your skill level on applications, don't lie, but also let someone else be the one to tell you your not an expert! |

How many years did you have in experience before applying what title is this for? |

Is a tentative offer a verbal offer from HR or is it an email? I spoke with HR for about 15 minutes and he congratulated me on the job and said he would send a T.O. and OF 306. He also took down extra info to start a background check. It's been over a week and I still haven't received an email from them and I haven't been able to get a hold of them on the phone. Is this normal?

Is this normal? They can't "start a background check" until you fill out an SF-85P or SF-86, and that would be after a Final Offer. But yes, it is normal for HR to take a couple of weeks to get the documents to you.
