I applied for a claims examiner position in the Cleveland, Ohio area. Can anyone tell me about the job and how DOL is to work for?

Hi Hrdy2b
I also applied for the same position, do not have experience in it but thought I would write a post to see if we can both get someone to chime in
about the position. My main concern is that since it is a GS 7/9/11/12 there should be a lot of demand nationwide for it and I might not even be referred due to the anticipation of highly qualified individuals applying for it. I work for the SSA right now and have worked for the IRS as an officer before.
I hope someone chimes it about the nature of the job like you asked and about what they are looking for as far as hiring, how hard it is to get in, etc.
