I know someone in this forum has figured out a way to have a little coolness in the LLV. Let us know what your setup is. I am just using the fan but we all know that the fan just doesn't do the trick. Share your inventions and setups.

Put it back on without wringing it out. I also dunk my head in the water. Also have had customers soak me the same when they're out with a hose. But I don't take the shirt off then. Works great. <g> |

I drive my LLV right into the freezer at an industrial meat packing plant. I know one of the supervisors and he lets me through the gate whenever I take a break/eat lunch. Cools everything right down.

1) Drive faster. With the door open.
2) Upgrade to a ProMaster. |

I stick my ice pack down my shorts. The customers think I'm very happy to see them.

I had a replacement LLV from MR a couple years ago. Had a portable a/c unit (actually two high-speed fans, away from the window) with some a/c ductwork over the driver's seat and pan, aimed at the driver. Worked pretty well, even in Phoenix. I always wondered if that was just a "let's see what we can do" deal, because it was really well done. And I was surprised they'd let that fly. But it worked! |

Heck, open the doors lol Just don't let management spot you cooling off and you'll be fine.

Yesterday, we hit 96 degrees with heat index of 106. I have a walking route. The stupidvisor took away my van with a/c and made me use an LLV. She didn't want to get too hot as she went around joy riding all day. |
I want to live in a world where the intent of a chicken isn't called into question whenever it crosses a road. |

Don't know how well it works but a guy where I used to work made this set up and placed it under the mail tray and had it blowing on him. Just convert the fan plug to 12v and use the lighter if you have one that works. Ahaha https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=D3YvF4eVQO0

Take a bottle of water, freeze it overnight then duct tape it to your fan.
