Do we have an estimation on the timeframe between BIs being completed and being adjudicated? From there, one still has to receive a class date which can take an another undetermined amount of time.

I wasn't notified when my BI was complete. The only reason I knew that was is because my AC needed an answer to a question HQ had for me. I don't know when it was complete, when it went to HQ, or when it should be adjudicated. That's a lot of unknowns! But, at least I know where it is at. Now I get to wait for my age waiver to come back from DoJ, sigh.....

I could be wrong but I would think that your BI was not completed until after HQ received an answer to their question. I may have missed one of your previous posts (I just searched but to no avail), but how do you know that you are in the process of adjudication? As far as the age waiver goes, I would think that if you made it this far then you will be fine.

My AC told me that my BI was complete and my packet was at HQ for adjudication.

Basically, HQ had a question about my VA disability rating and my AC sent the reply back to HQ and followed up with a phone call. So, HQ did receive the answer, I just probably didn't mention that.

I would imagine that my age waiver would be approved; a lot of time, money and resources have been placed on us. It's the time waiting for it to come back I'm not looking forward to!

Has your "Last Processing Date" on FBIJobs.com changed?

No it hasn't. I wonder when it will change; maybe when I am adjudicated?!

That is the impression that I have gotten from previous groups, and they typically get a call around that time.

Anybody have insight to FY18 class dates? Based on what I read here, it looks like there'll be one this September (okay, okay, not quite FY18 yet!) and January 2018. Anyone hear about classes beyond January '18?

Hey everyone. I had a friend of mine who is a CT SA reply to an email I sent asking some questions about field office assignments. In the reply, he told me that there is no longer the requirement to move in 3-4 years if your first assignment isn't one of the "large 17" field offices. Did anyone else hear that?

The "old" standards was that if your first office out of Q wasn't one of the large 17, you would be required to move to a large in 3-4 years. If anyone has the ability to corroborate that, it will benefit us all when ranking our "wish list".

Yes, my AC told us that at our Meet and Greet.

Edit: To clarify, my AC told us that there is no longer a requirement to move. Under current policy, you can stay at your initial field office forever if you so choose. Of course, we're getting a new Director soon and that could change.

My biggest worry with running portion of the PFT is pacing myself. When doing the PFT are there are whole group of applicants running at the same time, or are you alone?

For the 300m sprint, there are only a few running at a time (one person per lane). For the 1.5 mile, everyone runs at the same time. It's important to know that watches are not allowed! The time-keeper calls out your time every lap. I recommend figuring out what your targeted final run time is and dividing that by 6 so you know what your lap time is, per lap.

Not that I've ever seen, but doesn't mean there hasn't been in the past. i think there are just too many holidays between Nov and Jan to start a new class.

My processing date was just changed to today's date online. I've shown "Security Component: Investigation in Progress" since 5/11/2017. Assuming this means my file has been fully adjudicated? Would anybody agree? Waiting on a reply from my AC to verify.

Probably means your BI has been fully adjudicated. It's still possible your medical is outstanding.

I was told last week I've been medically cleared.

Mine changed last week so I am hoping for a call this week. Let us know what your AC says.

Dang AA that's awesome! Looks like I am the last lone holdout with still having a processing date back in 2016. Let us know when you get the call.

I just got "the call." I have officially been adjudicated and I'm on the list to be given a class date. AC said if not Sept, it'll be the first class of 2018. Either way, I'm just glad to know I'm going.
