Below is the list of documents that will be needed in order to verify your eligibility for the Military Spouse Priority Placement Program (PPP):

1) Original PCS ORDERS (if NAVY Service Record Page 2 Document that lists the dependents authorized to relocate)
(for Marine Corps WEB orders are not sufficient for registration in the program)
2) Copy of most recent SF-50 or LWOP-50 (this is for current/prior federal employees only)
3) Copy of SF-75 (this is for current federal employees only)
4) DOD 10-DIGIT ID number located on the FRONT of YOUR Military Spouse ID
5) Most Recent Performance Appraisal (required for prior federal employees)
6) Copy of your Marriage Certificate
7) Electronic copy of your current narrative resume in WORD or PLAIN TEXT Format. Please watch the following video designed to help you write an effective resume at http://www.youtube.com/w...wGV6A&feature=relmfu

Also, the local Fleet and Family Support Center is also available to have their staff review your resume and provide feedback, since your resume is the most important piece of the Military Spouse PPP registration process.

The Department of the Navy (DON) posts announcements on USAJOBS (www.usajobs.gov), which is a job resource when searching for employment. In USAJOBS, an applicant can establish an account and create a saved searches file so that you will be notified by email when a vacancy opens that meets your profile. For tips on USAJOBS Advanced Searches, watch the following video at http://www.youtube.com/w...U&feature=digest_sun

In addition to utilizing PPP for placement opportunities, military spouses are highly encouraged to apply for positions on their own. However, if a military spouse applies for a position outside of PPP, they must ensure they are eligible to apply under the "Who May Apply" section of the announcement and placement is not mandatory.

Lastly, know that there is no guarantee you will be placed through the PPP program; however, it is beneficial to begin your own job search in order to maximize your placement opportunities.
