ok so I have a question regarding APO / RMPO offices...
I was a PTF clerk working in an APO office. One of the RMPO offices under that office had a clerk that was retiring. I was told by my postmaster that since I was the head clerk (I had been there the longest) that I had to go the that office and be converted to a NTFT. I spoke with other postmasters and supervisors and they said the same thing. So I went, unwillingly. But I have since transferred out of that office and now the postmaster is having a brand new PTF that was just hired transferred to the office that I was at. So I guess my question is did I have a choice whether or not I had to go or could I have stayed where I was at?
