Well, I am glad you still have a job and are being paid. The paycheck is the important thing. I would keep applying for other jobs. Good luck and please let us know what happens.

GovExec is widely read by Management. This article details the stupidity to which you have been subjected. There is no reason whatsoever that they can't find a person with your education and experience a new job that you can do. It shows their lack of effort. I hope your Termination is rescinded, but please keep us updated.

My agency also didn't bother to try to find another position for me. Actually, they requested my resume stating they might have found a position for me concerning a hardship transfer. Then, they denied ever requesting my resume or saying that they were looking for a position although I had email proof of it! It's not just a lack of effort, it's also corrupt.

Interesting progress. The newly initiated "version 2.0" diversity and inclusion initiatives emphasize Schedule A. No metrics on the success or failure of the hires after the fact, unfortunately. No value in Schedule A unless the hires have the tools to do the job.

The DoD CAP website no longer lists Dragon as 'approved for use on NMCI'.

And the "Dragon Naturally Speaking is the only voice recognition program certified for use on the Navy Marine Corps Intranet" statement that was there for at least the past 5 years (despite it being blocked from functioning) is also gone.

I am so, so glad that no one else will see those misleading, false statements, erroneously believe they'll have the AT they need to do their job & accept a position they'll never be given the opportunity to perform, let alone succeed in!

It's a positive step.

Now, if only they'd get Dragon functional, & ensure they'd KEEP it functional, for all who need it....

I was very sad to read the update on this case: http://www.govexec.com/m...e-her-disability/146373/

I hope you can find a way to continue pursuing this case. I think you will win in the end, but it takes a long time, as we know. You may also want to file for Disability Retirement, since the reason they are terminating you (according to the article) is "inability to perform as a result of a medical condition." That is the Bruner presumption and should help you in getting D.R.
