To any current or former Federal investigators out there:

1. I'm in the process of going through a security clearance for a moderate risk (Tier 2S, SF85P) position. I had heard at one point in the past heard that OPM doesn't follow up in any way (neither through inquiry letters or through in-person interviews with past employers) for past employers where one was employed for less than 90 days. Is this true?

2. I'm also looking for the content of the query letter which goes to past employers.

Thank you!
