Seeing a lot of quick processing in that area! I just finished that part of the process, but haven't heard a word from my investigator, and none of my references have been contacted. Sucks that this is the area my recruiter has no insight to because she is usually great with updates/status. Hoping its not my case that falls through the cracks.

Rank: Newbie Groups: Registered Joined: 2/22/2019(UTC) Posts: 2 Thanks: 4 times Was thanked: 4 time(s) in 2 post(s)		Here's my timeline ... 09/2018 - applied 11/2018 - operational interview 01/2019 - CJO 02/2019 - security forms submitted 02/2019 - soft credit pull 05/2019 - poly and psych exam (pass) I still have not been contacted for the BI, and none of my references or supervisors have been contacted. One explanation I got (although unlikely) is that sometimes the BI will go off of a current clearance if it was recently granted. But it's also possible they just haven't started my BI yet. I guess only time will tell.

However, as with all timelines in this area, your mileage may vary.

Traditionally there could be less scrutiny however even if you are doing JDA they still make you go through the process. The timeline may be compressed but its not automatic. I am interested to hear how it works out for you, thanks for sharing.

My recruiter seems efficient and friendly, which is great. I have a ts/sci with CI so I'm hoping the rest of the way forward are poly/psych/adjudication and not a new bg investigation. Or at least that it only needs to cover the last two years since the most recent bg. For people processing who have clearances, was that your experience as well? I've heard that's how it goes and validation would be welcome news. Like everyone else, I'm eager to onboard. I'm hoping to be there by December. Sooner would be great, but a year from offer looks about average, longer for the linguists? If I have an FJO and a new EOD by fall I will be elated. I have finished with both the Poly and the Psych, but haven't heard a thing. My recruiter told me 10 weeks ago "You should be hearing from a BI in the next few weeks!", and its been silence since.

I hope that timeline applies for me also. Although, I am coming up on week 4 since my poly.. My recruiter just keeps telling me "I heard from my BI on the day of my poly" and I feel late to the party, lol. The old recruiter told me back in March I should be hearing from mine in a few weeks, and that never happened, haha. I know there is no rhyme or reason but I could sit it and forget it a lot better without the "you should hear something soon!" updates, lol. Although, I do appreciate not being left in total silence.

Any insights into whether or not you are dropped from consideration if you accept? I've had very little traction with mine and would hate to lose my place if I go ahead and find full-time employment meantime. Applied - 1/2018 Operational Interview - 3/2018 CJO - 4/2018 Submitted SF86 - 6/2018 Credit pulled - 6/2018 BI - 6/2018 BI Follow-up - 7/2018 More BI follow-up - 12/2018 I've been stuck in waiting since, though I'm feeling very hopeful with a lot of folks seeing some movement with their processing and getting cleared lately. Just hoping to hear back soon!

Here's my timeline: 10/2018 - Applied 10/2018 - Request for letters of recommendation and unofficial transcript for job 1 11/2018 - Operational interview for jobs 2 & 3 11/2018 - Verbal CJO for job 2 01/2019 - Official CJO for job 2 01/2019 - HR and SF-86 forms filled and submitted 01/2019 - SF-86 corrections requested and submitted 01/2019 - Credit pull 03/2019 - BI start 03/2019 - Poly/Psych scheduled for April 04/2019 - BI Follow-up 04/2019 - Passed Poly/Psych + Operational interview for job 1 04/2019 - Sent official transcript 05/2019 - Official CJO for job 1 05/2019 - Verbal FJO 08/2019 - EOD The EOD is a bit delayed due to my own logistical problems. If I could get there sooner they would have had me starting as early as June.
