I wouldn't straight up just not apply folks, lots of reasons the 2019 CHI probably didn't go through. 2018 seemed pretty successful. I'll see if I can get some insight into the CHI as we have a lot of ex-FBI and SACs where I currently work.

So after some talking around I would recommend that folks apply when it opens. I however could not get a answer if people from the 2019 process are kept on record or if they should reapply...so I would reapply anyways if you are still interested. It severely helps if you already have a security clearance. I am currently in the process for another agency but will be applying.

Quick update! Pay attention to the FBI Jobs postings, FBI Social Media Accounts and other FBI recruitment resources. There is active pre-graduation recruitment going on currently!

I first heard it in person from a SAC then the FBI Chicago Field Office pretty much confirmed it yesterday. If you aren't already I suggest making multiple social media accounts that the FBI is active on and start following them.

Been constantly checking social media accounts and FBI job postings for the 2020 Collegiate Hiring Initiative application to become available. Regardless of no one hearing back from last year's opening, I'm still going to apply.

Just read the updated description for the 2020 College Hiring Initiative and it says that students must "have and maintain a 3.0 cumulative grade point average (GPA) or better at the time of application and through graduation."

I know that last years requirement was a cumulative GPA of 2.95. Does anyone know of an applicant who succeeded their way through the app process under the GPA requirement? If so, please elaborate.

How did you see the 2020 job description if it isn't posted on the FBI website yet?
