the "I" in NACI means "inquires". Your employers will be contacted by letter and asked to fill out a questionnaire about your employment history.

The OF 306 that normally accompanies the SF85 asks if you have been fired, etc, in the last 5 years.

*DISCLAIMER*Correctly filling out your security forms will not guarantee you a clearance in 3 months BUT be sloppy and your case will be in the field a heck of a lot longer, guaranteed.
