This position requires access to taxpayer's information and adjusting their accounts. It does require clearance.

I apologize. I probably mixed up some other term with it, and I haven't been at work to see what I was thinking of. Still, you have a lot of access, and I've seen them cut people off certain systems because of the background check. Classroom training is about 2 1/2 months long, so there's plenty of time before the new hires start logging in.

Is this for CR or CR collections.
10/15 is soon!
Maybe FOs are going to be sent with less than 2 weeks before start date?
😂 kinda crazy.

This is for the regular CR position.

They already had my fingerprints in the system as I've applied for other positions, so that might have sped up the process a bit for me.

Interesting. Guess we’ll see. I’ve been wondering if they were pushing the start date back. Guess not. Seems like it would be prudent to allow 2 weeks minimum for those selected to notify their current employer of their resignation.
Thanks a lot. 👍🏻

Hello all,

I received an final offer today for the CR position. I am already in the system as a contractor. I like the contractor position and it will be tough to decide

I took my CRA assessment about a month and a half ago, but I haven't received any notifications. My status changed to "Referred to Selecting Official" on September 4, 2019 without any prior notification. Since then, I haven't heard anything from the agency. I am a bit worried!

Congratulations! From other posts, being an employee seems to be a better choice for the long-term.

I have not applied for this job but would be very interested in knowing your timeline. For some of the jobs that I applied, I did choose Dallas/Farmers Branch as one of the locations so who know we might meet if I get the job.

Looking at the calendar, it looks like 10 / 15 is on a Tuesday. That is interesting - I don't think I can recall ever starting a job on a day other than Monday. But, I see there are 2 of us scheduled to start on that day.
