What does a change in processing date during BI stage usually indicate?

An adjudication decision has been reached. Sounds like you are adjudicated.

I'm in BI and recently had a processing date change myself, but it seems too soon for me to have been adjudicated (a couple of months) -- do you know of any other reason the processing date might change?

Historically and based on my extensive research, you get a date change when your background is initiated. Then it stays that way until the adjudication decision is made and you have another date change. You never know, I read on here a guy getting adjudicated in a month. Mine took under 4 months.

Typically goes Jan, Mar, May, Jul, Sep. They added Oct this year, but that may prove to be an exception.

If you get an offer, can you push you invite?

Say if I get offered for March, Can I push to May?

If you receive a date change while in your BI, it most likely means you’ve been adjudicated.

If you are fit and are willing to go to the Q on short notice, it’s worth a call to your AC, or better, your AC’s admin (who usually does some of the key work anyway). Say you saw and date change and ask whether you’ve been adjudicated.

You can also say you’re fit and ready to go to the Q on short notice.

I did that and was put in the next class.

I have the PFT scheduled and am currently gathering the necessary information in order to streamline the e-QIP SF86 form. For those that have filled out the e-QIP recently, under foreign travel (not on business), do they need information over the last 7 years or 10 years?

Thanks!

Not saying I know what this process is like because I'm not to your point yet; however, having had a number of clearances, an adjudication can take as many as months to as long as years. Everyone is different.

I'm in the same boat, "Someguy"! I am an IA applicant and have been in BI since May/June. Last processing date was 04/23/2019 when I accepted my CJO. At that time, the status changed to the "Security Component" one. Nothing changed until yesterday, 10/15 - that "last processing date" changed but not the status. I've been feverishly reading through this forum and all of the various threads to try and figure out what this means!

You are the third person that had a processing date change today, or these days. That means HQ is pushing people through.

I'm in the same boat too. SA applicant, last processing date for security investigation was early April, was updated yesterday afternoon 10/15/19. Was told by my AC it's because I'm in a "hold" until they finish reviewing some medical record.

Just over 3 weeks now from the NYC M&G with no notice regarding ranking. I'm sure the chaos of filling the Oct. class is taking up most of the resources, but I would have loved to be able to take the 'scheduled' pilot PFT this month.

Anyone hear anything yet?

I'm coming out of DC with I think 56 people at my MG if I recall, so probably similar to NYC. Definitely can take awhile but it all varies. Really no clear cut answer on how long it'll take but I'd say on average bigger offices will take longer than small ones.

I just realized your M&G was smaller than ours and it took well over a month. Doesn't look like that Oct. pilot PFT is happening, haha. Time to stop worrying about it and get ready to run in colder November!

Anybody know if the October class is full yet? Or how many spots are left if it’s not already full?
