Again, I'm not 100% on that but when I first got called my training was initially said to be earlier but since I had to think about it for a day I called back later and that class was full. I think that class started in November. I initially wasn't keen on moving to Michigan but we are really excited now. My Fiance actually found a job right after I did and he begins his job on the 1st. We're moving next week :) Edited by user Thursday, October 17, 2019 5:02:38 AM(UTC)

Received the Phone call this evening! I was offered many locations including several in California, Arizona, Washington State, Alaska, South Dakota, Chicago and Detroit. I choose Detroit seeing as it’s only 4 hours from where I’m originally from in Ohio, plus I have some family in that area as well. I report to my location on March 3rd for two weeks and then training is March 18th - June 25th. I’m pretty excited and can’t wait!

Dang. That means 19-1 won't probably see movement for an entire year the way things look.

19-1 here. I applied July 2019. 43% completed. I got notification that my BI will start, haven’t heard from the investigator yet. Looks like it will take some time.

Still at 57% looks like the BI has halted a bit. Just curious how many of you really enjoy the ag specialist position now that you started working. I’m 29 and been teaching hs science for 7 years and since it’s all I know and have already invested in education. I’m just curious because I’m nervous about making such a drastic career change.

18-2 and just got my offer for St.Louis today! I cannot believe it as this is my third offer and I’m finally getting my location! I start March 3rd. Does anyone have advice with a newborn? My baby girl will only be two months and I plan on feeding her(vs formula) so I’m not sure what to do? Mothers, please help me out! Edited by user Tuesday, November 5, 2019 7:12:06 AM(UTC)

Hello Everyone!
I just found this chat and I'm wondering if anyone could give any advice on what to expect on the structured interview? I've recently applied for the CBP Agriculture Specialist position and have my interview this week. Any tips would be greatly appreciated! Thank you in advance!

I just passed all my pre-employment stuff. I received a call and an email today that I need to respond within two days. From what I have learned on this forum, I will now be put on a list and I need to pick an area I would like to work.
It seems that if they do not offer me my desired locations, I can defer. I'm wondering, how many times can you do that before they don't call you anymore?

Stillbliss, when did you apply? 2018 or 2019? I am 19-1 and still waiting for BI to complete.
