For anyone who has submitted an eQIP, how long did it take to hear back to schedule a PSI/Poly?

Am I the only person who received a CJO but has not heard back about the paperwork yet? I emailed them and asked but was just told to wait. I'm getting nervous because it has been over a month since I got the offer but no other progress has been made.

Did people get a separate email after scheduling the PSI via phone call? My investigator told me on the phone that he'd send a confirmation email but it never came.

I scheduled my PSI entirely via email so I'm not sure.

Hi everyone!

I just scheduled my PSI and I was wondering what the PSI consists of? Is that where the polygraph takes place?

The polygraph and PSI are separate things - the PSI is mostly just talking with someone about a bunch of questions, fingerprinting, drug test, etc., while the polygraph is...well, the polygraph. Though it's possible you could have them on the same day (although you'd be there for a while).

Interesting, they scheduled my PSI first and said the poly would follow at a later date.

Wondering how they can think adjudication is going to go smoothly here... having someone done with poly/PSI on Jan 17 and hoping for final clearance granted by May 1 is a little optimistic....

Haven't heard anything, and I submitted my SF-86 over a month ago, should I be worried? I was going to call HR but I didn't know if that was a good idea.

Has anyone had their polygraph yet? From what I gather they are still running PSIs.

Just finished my polygraph yesterday morning! It didn't go very well because I had a debate with the polygrapher about the accuracy of polygraph using data from papers ive read and what i learned from my criminology classes and he didn't seem to be very happy about my questions :) but I passed lol so now Im officially in the BI waiting game

I find it extremely surprising you were not accused of using countermeasures. How did you polygrapher respond overall to you admitting you knew about the poly? Additionally, did you schedule your poly before or after your PSI? Additionally, does anyone know if they are expediating our BIs? Adjudication by May 1 without any sort of "being pushed to the front of the line" seems VERY optimistic.

I heard back this afternoon that I had passed my polygraph after emailing my point of contact. I was told the next step was for FBI HQ to initiate my background investigation and that my point of contact would let me know when that happens.

My PSI and polygraph was scheduled in one email :) I told the polygrapher at the beginning that I’m a criminology student, so he just asked me if I know anything about poly and I said yes. He said it’s fine. Then I just dumped a lot of questions on him about negative opinions from psychologists on poly and he got so mad at the end telling me “psychologist don’t know anything about poly” lolll but I passed anyway. Maybe because I was not nervous at all? I remember he mentioned that my HR is very low, usually people get to 80-100+ bpm on that chair and mine is a 60-70 just like my usual HR

Polygraph scheduled, BI packet submitted by investigator... I felt like there were a lot of holes in my coverage as somehow who has had experience with the process for work before, but apparently I overestimated what they needed.

Anyone who has been through poly and everything, have you been assigned a field investigator? And I know it’s also a stretch, but has anyone actually had references contacted or at the least credit pulled? Very concerned that we won’t be adjudicated by May....
