I called the number about 2 weeks ago and got answer too, much to my surprise! I was told that I passed the biodata assessment and would be contacted for a structured interview as well but have yet to hear anything. I know it's kind of an indefinite waiting game but all the old postings I've looked at generally have the interview happening within 6 months of application so we can hope for early 2020.

I actually have never applied for the DEA but looking at some people’s timelines I would say it’s moving a little quicker

Yeah, it was pretty fast. Nothing for awhile and all of sudden so many things were happening with them. They are trying to get the 1/6 class filled.

I'm not a recent graduate, but I'm curious as to where you saw this. Was this posted on their site or on USAJOBS?

Hope this doesn't screw the original post. I applied for the last DEA position posted on USAjobs for recent graduates and it was supposed to be open till the 10th BUT there was a cut of 300 applicants I believe so by January 7th it was closed. I applied on January 2nd and I received an email to do an Online assessment within hours, haven't heard anything since but between Xmas and what not I wasn't expecting anything else, it's only been a few days. I guess I have questions like will they interview me and if so, will they ask about my experience because I have been studying for what feels like forever(currently finishing my LLM and Contracts certification at Harvard) and I don't have much experience in the field... How do I know if there are positions available for Hawaii where I applied for please? Thank you and good luck to all.
