Hi, I'm not sure if this is the correct forum to ask. A little more than a year ago (Oct 1, 2018) I took a job at the IRS. I was working at DOD under a pay band vs GS for about a year and a half and I was getting an increase (2 steps for GS grade equivalent) which was going to start Oct 1. The IRS requested a form 75 from DOD and the raise was not on it. My next and following DOD earnings and leave statements all shows the increase. I put in a ticket fro HR and they came back a few months later said there was nothing they could do. I have missed an increase for over 2.5 years since I came into DOD just before the following year annual review.

Someone who sits near me who just transferred from another agency said to file a Fair Labor Standards Act claim with OPM. Has anyone had this happen or heard of this happening before?

I wish I had delayed my start date 2 more weeks. My supervisor said to try the FLSA route but does not have any experience with it. I also spoke to the union rep and she said to get all documentation together and give it a try.
