Not really any room for negotiation since you accepted the offer.

That's interesting. I was told in other postings that you could negotiate once the final offer was made.

It's one thing if they made the final OFFER...but did you ACCEPT it? If you accepted it, then you did so knowing what your salary offer was.

What is your Masters in, you should have started as a Gs9 automatically plus you do have experience. You were jacked with that low ball grade.

I accepted the tentative offer, just thinking if I should try to talk to HR after background check, but before the final one
my master is in business, and bachelor in economics, and 4 years work experiences was in management&logistics industry.

Right, he/she accepted the tentative offer. You can negotiate salary before accepting the final offer. Correct, or no?

I accepted my tentative offer for GS-5 ISA and was upgraded to GS-6 afterwards by submitting my SF50 that showed I had already been a 6. You might not have an SF50 if you haven't been a federal employee before, but you can absolutely negotiate your pay up until you accept the final offer.

Hello everyone,

Can anyone share me the hiring processing for this position? Do they require a writing assessment like ISO?

1. what is the job like as an assistant at a field office?

2. is the job difficult or hard for somebody that has never worked in an office setting before?

3. is there anything you can start learning, programs or anything to get ahead of the game?

I interviewed for PSC as well... but before Christmas, around Dec 18. I haven't heard anything else after that. According to the announcement on usajobs, we are supposed to receive final notification within 90 days.

I interviewed for the same place and I received the same email. I also received an email asking for my references before my interview.

Have you heard anything back?

I saw on another thread you said your references were contacted from a services center. Was it PSC?
