You should go to your job and see if your AL payout is sitting there. It's given in the form of a check and isn't direct deposited. |

1. Date of retirement: December 31, 2019 2. Received AL buyout without 2020 cola adjustment January 10, 2020 3. No buyout 4. First interim payment received: January 31, 2020 5. Still not done, logged in to the OPM servicing site and my package has been assigned to a specialist on January 17, 2020, but as of today marked incomplete. 6. Processing site: Boyers PA 7. FERs or CSRS: FERS only
Received first FERS Annuity Supplement payment Feb 12, 2020 and a letter explaining it a day later. Received my booklet today Feb 15, 2020 informing me of everything. Final numbers were exactly the same as those explained to me by my agency retirement processor, Army ABC Ft. Riley Kansas. I have to say I am pleasantly surprised at the quickness of the process after reading all the articles on GovExec and FedSmith. The only thing still open is the Annual Leave COLA payout. Not a big deal but I'll be looking for it since I have no idea how that works. Thanks for letting me vent and good luck to all.

Wheeeeeeeeeeee! On 02/20/2020 I put in my papers, certified direct to Fort Riley!
On 21 February, I have a 4* wanting to know how he's going to manage the command without a GS-0170! Well, dam-uh! I'm old. Let me out of this game!

1. August 2019 (deferred annuity) 2. ? 3. N/A 4. 12 weeks to start interim pay--approx 30% 5. Still waiting--nine months and counting. 6. DC 7. CSRS
Was told by phone that coronavirus is delaying my application--but it was 7 months already before coronavirus started. I will not get my full amount until at least July, which will be 11 months since my elibility date.
Was also told by phone that since I have a deferred annuity, I must have another pension, so I don't really need this money.
