From what I've read, if you have filed a tax return in the past two years and provided direct deposit information, you will get your stimulus payment (if eligible) automatically.
I have not received a refund in a while so I did not provide direct deposit info. However, I thought I saw someplace that if they have your info anyway (like for direct deposit of federal pay), the money will go to that account.
Has anyone else seen this?
Of course, seeing as how I am still waiting for my 2019 to be updated in my social security account, maybe this is too much to hope for... |

Yeah I checked that site out before (as did a lot of other people). No indication if they can obtain direct deposit info from any other source besides tax refund data.
We'll see when that portal opens up to provide bank account info. Hope it is secure as every hacker under the sun will be all over that site the moment it comes online.

They don't seem to be requiring direct deposit. You should be able to have the check mailed to you if you prefer.
