And if my test come back as positive again how’s they going to pay me? I have to use my sick leave and ask for an FMLA case?

Why would the OP get to use FMLA here?

Assuming the OP is otherwise eligible, FMLA applies to "a serious health condition that makes the employee unable to perform the essential functions of his or her job." I am guessing that being positive for COVID-19, and not being allowed to work due to that diagnosis, fits within that category. I am unsure why it would not. Of course, FMLA leave is unpaid unless the OP uses accrued leave of some type.

You would think if management is “instructing” not to return after the 14 day along with 2 negative test results you would be placed atleast in admin leave since it’s their direction and not your doctors. Why’s it the employees burden to use leave to fulfill managements request?

We have had carriers return to work with in 5 days of testing positive. The excuse was that they no longer had symptoms for 3 days.

Only at the PO!

If the PO is requiring you to have 2 negative tests, make sure they pay for it and not your health insurance.

You get up to 80 hours covid19 eal. Any leave beyond that 80 hours comes out of your pocket. I would suggest you file for FMLA is you were to test positive a second time. Although any leave taken in conjunction with covid19 is pretty bulletproof currently.

biggest issue with this virus, people can have it for days and show no symptoms and then give it to many others.

80 hours is two weeks of 5, 8 hour days. so 14 days would include off days.
