Need some advice, I got a tentative offer for a job for DHS, I accepted the tentative offer and 3 days later I got my EOD, I then told them I was on active duty orders for training for 4 months and asked if I could start when I got back. They told me to send my orders and we will go from there. Thoughts? I found that under law I can’t be discriminated. Thank you in advance.

Why are you jumping to the conclusion that you will be discriminated against?

Maybe you should have switched up the order... told them you were on orders before you accepted, or at least at the same time...

Unless you are in some kind of formal training (like a course or something) maybe you should also look into curtailing your orders to take the job. I know people have been able to do that in the past. Its an option, but if you are in a school you are probably better off finishing it.

Hopefully it will all work out.

Might have been easier to inform them you were on orders when the EOD was being established.
The excuse of, "I read it on FederalSoup..." won't work. Please do your due diligence.
