I am an IRS employee my position is condition on a favorable BI. I started in August of 2020. I received a copy of my BI from DCSA which I FOIA requested. I am not sure where I stand with adjudication. Since I received a copy of the investigation I am assuming it was adjudicated? My BI closed January 2021. I am not sure if an adjudication determination was made. The certification of investigation was not signed with my FOIA request.

If it was adjudicated, security manager and HR would have agreed to move forward in hiring process. Securiry manager knows where your case is at. Could be closing actions awaiting adjudication. Or it could possibly be that your case was suspended awaiting response from Security manager office. It could be any one of those things. Could be no determination made because security manager didnt respond to RFI or supplemental request.

IRS allows you to work while there while waiting for adjudication. It took a year to for me to receive final results of adjudication and about 1.5 when I was rehired. You will get your results.

Keep working and stop worrying about it.
