Congratulations on your interview and I hope you get hired!
Thanks for sharing this information.
Is it possible for you to answer the following questions for the sake of others who applied under the same announcement?
Was this for external announcement, 20PHI-SBX0445-0526-5T9, that closed on 06/19/2020, or did you also apply for an internal announcement?
Were you working for the IRS or another federal agency when it closed?
Was this for a position in the state on your profile, Utah?
I don't have the specific knowledge or copy of the OPM law as to how long agencies have to hire from announcements before they expire, IF, they expire.
I was assuming, (not stating as a fact), that hiring for 20PHI-SBX0445-0526-5T9 had ended, that they only hired internals or active federal employees, and the announcement had expired for hiring purposes. I thought that was the reason for the new external announcement for TCOs that closed 03/15/2021...
I applied for both the older one, (was interviewed in November), and the most recent one. Hoping they are still hiring for the older one but fine if they are not and they proceed with the most recent.
Thank You,
Nick
