This post is a short version of one I posted yesterday. I was awarded 10% for tinnitus in February . Now, I was now just awarded 70% for MDD and chronic anxiety secondary to tinnitus. I'm on OWCP for those same conditions MDD and chronic anxiety however tinnitus is not part of the OWCP case file.

is this considered duel benefits??? Or, Do I have to make an election? If I have to make an election what would be the date? It goes back several years...

Then it's not work-related as far as OWCP is concerned.

I wonder how the VA sees this. I get it now how it's secondary but I can't find any info from the VA. Will the VA pay on a claim if you are receiving OWCP?

You're not receiving any OWCP benefits for tinnitus. If the tinnitus is service-related, that's how the VA will see it.
