I applied for the tax fraud investigative assistant position for four locations. I am curious if there is anyone else who has applied for these, and if so have you heard anything.

I applied long ago and nothing ever came of it, no notifications of any kind. I can only imagine there would be quite a few applicants for a position that probably isn't picking up more than one or two per pod.

I applied for this position as well in the DC area. I called to try and get some info and I was told that all of the positions were filled internally for the PODs that I requested. Perhaps you are in the same boat.
