I am currently under a 6c covered law enforcement position at the GS-13 level. However, I am looking for a list of 6c covered law enforcement positions on all federal agencies. Does anyone has a list by agency, job description and series, i.e. 1811 Special Agent, 1801 Investigator, Deportation Officer, CBPO, etc...
Does anyone works for USAID that can provide a list of jobs covered under 6c?

6c/12d covered job series:
1801 - General Inspection, Investigation and Compliance Series Many jobs are covered. Some of the jobs in this series include: Deportation Officers, Immigration Enforcement Agents, Marine Enforcement Agents, Aviation Enforcement Officers, Air Intrediction Agents, etc.
1810 - General Investigation Series A few jobs are covered.
1811 - Criminal Investigation Series Most jobs are covered.
1895 - Customs and Border Protection Series All jobs are covered as of July 2008.
1896 - Border Patrol Agent Series All jobs are covered.
That's a start. Others can add more. |

Every job series in the Federal Bureau of Prisons (FBOP) is covered under the 20 year law enforcement retirement (as long as you work in a prison, as opposed to working only at regional/central offices).

The "Police Officer" title is very misleading for most agencies (DAF, DA, VA, etc)... they are Police in job scope and duties, but not in retirement (I was one). |
