I've been reading the boards for a while now and i've come across alot of info on phase II, but I still have some questions about the process.

1.  Does how well you perform on phase I get you into phase II, or is it based on FBI needs?
2.  Is it done at a regional location or at your local FO?
3.  How soon does a phase II invite usually come after notification of passing phase I?

Thanks

I can try to take a stab at these:

1.  They don't disclose the Phase I test scores, they only tell you pass or fail, so no one here will really know the true answer to this.  It looks like it has more to do with work/education history and critical skills, but I wouldn't doubt that those test scores play into it as well.

2.  Regional location, however it seems that some have been sent out of what one would think is their "region".

3.  This is really different for everybody and I think has a lot to do with your experience and critical skills.  Also, I don't think any office will nominate if you don't have a passing PFT self assessment.  My guess would be the minimum would be a few weeks after getting passing results on Phase I, up to several months or even years.

Do you know if the FBI pays LEAP while in their training? This varies from agency to agency I think.

No, they don't.  LEAP starts after 5 months at Quantico.  But you do get locality pay.
