Hello...

I am working on securing a WG-3940-02 position in DC, and I have spent literally hours looking for an easy to read pay schedule for WG's.

I've been over the links from OPM to the Army and their pay schedules, but everything I see doesn't seem to relate equally to a WG-3940.

Is there such an animal as an easy to read pay schedule for WG's along the lines of what is done for GS Pay Schedules?

If it helps, this position isn't with any military service, it is with the BBG.

Go here:

The series should not matter- it is the grade that matters. Or you could call the BBG.

Thanks for the link. This is the schedule i have seen before, but then I get confused.

The position is for a WG-3910-02, and the posting is here:

http://jobview.usajobs.gov/GetJob.aspx?JobID=85454554&JobTitle=Radio+Broadcast+Technician+%28Operations%29&sort=rv&vw=d&brd=3876&ss=0&FedEmp=N&FedPub=Y&q=BBG-10-004&AVSDM=2010-01-09+14:31:00

My question is that they are offering a wage per hour of $27 to $42/hour, where does this position line up with the wage schedule you showed me?

WB is different from WG- I would imagine that WB is some special pay scale and authority that only BBG has. You would need to contact BBG for the scale.

You know, I completely missed the "WB".  You're probably right about the special pay authority.

Thanks for the insight!
