Log into www.liteblue.usps.gov

At the bottom of the page there is a link to employee deals.  There are a few colleges that offer discounts to USPS employees.

The USPS is not offering anything...  It is the college.

He didn't ask what the USPS offered in terms of discounts.

The usps is getting nothing the employee is!  I retired in 2009 and still get Sprint discount.  So how much of that is because of the PO. Sprint knows no discount and I leave.

She asked if the USPS gets a discount!  the answer to that is NO.  If she asked if employees got a discount from the college the answer would be different.

That doesn't even make sense.  Could the USPS attend college?  I thought only people could go to college.

Wow.

So from what she wrote it sounded like she was aking in the USPS gave tuition credits for employees.
I guess the question was poorly worded.

I looked into all of the colleges that offer discounts because of the USPS and it seemed that the max was 10-15% or so but the credit hours cost $400-$500+ per hour.  I decided to go to a local 4 year college (lol, by "local" I mean 75 miles away, just over an hour's drive) where credit hours are $240/CH and they charge for a max of 10.  So this fall semester coming up, I'll be taking 21 CH and only paying about $2,400 plus books, etc.  That's a far cry from DeVry's $10,500 for ONE semester (theirs is $550/CH x 21) plus fees.

dhacker we all make mistakes. When you are wrong just admit it instead of being a douche about it. The only person you are fooling is yourself.

You are probably correct but there is no need to call anyone rude names!  Childish?  what do you call using names like that applied to someone you do not even know!!  You must be a Southern Hoosier?

The USPS does not offer Employees any assistance to attend college.  I once had a supervisor that tried his best to see that I missed classes.  I always reminded him that since I had taken many College Management classes he did not, that maybe he should try Management 101.  He was typical of managers we have encountered...vindictive, lying, and petty.  This seems to be your path to management.  The educated need not apply.
I did get back at him finally, as I coached a baseball All-Star team against his team.  We won 29-2.  I would have scored 40 if I could have...
