I have asked this question previously, but I will ask again, will being fired from a summer job before my last semster in college, I just graduated in december of 05. I was fired for opening my mouth to a co-worker and making a off-hand comment. I learned from this and will not repeat it. However i read in a fact sheet for CBP support vacancy that being dismissed from positions will result in you being rated unsuitable for employment. Is it just crazy for me to keep sending in applications for fed vacancies that im interested in/

Answer any questions on the application truthfully and give a brief explanation in the "remarks" section - similar to what you just put in your post. There's no way to know how the person making decisions will lean. However, by admitting what happened and chalking it up to youth - and noting that you learned from the experience - you will have done the best you could with the situation. Move on and good luck!
