Hi!  I just retired from TTB as an investigator - we often worked with auditors.  Where would your job be?  It's great in California - you'd have many assignments at wineries.

I am located in Missouri - but was told to expect about 2 weeks of travel per month.

So I expect you'd be involved in more tobacco and distilled spirits than wine, although there's at least one winery in every state...  This is a very good job, hope you get it!

So How was the Interview..How many Questions they asked from you..There are so my opinions as a observer & academic but not  policy or
opinion of  U.S. Treasury Alcohol and Tobacco Tax and Trade Bureau.

How could you work for the Federal govt., jackson, when you have so much trouble putting a coherent English sentence together? And what is with the spam? You are violating the terms of use of this site, not to mention that "whole life" insurance is a very poor deal.

Anyone apply to the TTB postings that closed on 3/18/2012...My status has changed to "Referred to Selecting Official". Anyone know what would be next.  Interested to see if a phone interview is used here. The job location was listed as determined upon selection? Ideas/Comments?

When we had a group of candidates, we conducted a phone interview and then conducted an in person interview of those applicants showing the highest potential.  This was, however, for an investigator position, not an auditor position.

The 2 positions are one for the Dallas District Office and one for the Cincinnati District Office.  Both offices cover several states so you could potentially live in any stated covered by that District Office.  TTB is a good place to work.
