Where can I find information about requesting a desk audit? I'm a FERS employee with 12yrs of Federal service. I’m being over looked for any type of advancement, promotion etc, but I'm doing all sorts of duties which fall outside of my PD. Any help or advice would be appreciated

Summer,

Please be careful of what you wish for! When you say you are doing all sorts of things outside of your PD, the question arises, are those grade controlling duties? If so, are they going to increase or decrease your grade? If the duties that they assign you are "busy work" rather than more complicated, higher graded duties, someone could come to the conclusion that you are getting overpaid, plus you are a complainer. If, however, those duties are connected to higher graded responsibilities, they could just take them away from you and you are still labeled a complainer. Now, if life is fair and that is a big assumption, an audit that shows that you have been performing duties normally assigned to a higher graded employee, you should get an increase in your grade. However, who ever said that life was fair. Good luck with whatever you decide to do.
