Hi!
I am currently under my husband's health insurance (through his non-federal job), but I would like to change both of us over to my FEHB insurance. My main concern with this switch is that the open season for my husband's insurance is in June, while my open season (for FEHB) is in November. If I cancel our insurance in June, would I be able to add both of us to my insurance right after? In other words does this count as a qualifying life event? If not, what are my options?

Thanks!

I believe this would be a QLE.
Look at code 1M in the SF2809
