I know its a numbers game, however, when you look at the numbers the math doesn't add up.

PMR's are down 2678.  I realize that across the nation many things are being handled differently but our PMR's were just re-hired in as PSE's.  So wouldn't the PSE numbers increase???
So how is it the PSE numbers did not increase, they stayed exactly at 15568.

We supposedly converted PTF's in large offices to the "new" full time position of NTFT's.  So we should be showing less part time employees and more full time.
Part time workers declined 9993.  And yet Full time employees declined 14,343??

I'm sure if you looked, you could see more oddities.

It is called attrition!  Career employees retired PSEs could not take the crap and quit.

whatever you call it sounds like they are half way to their goal for the year with half a year to go. Still think there is a reason for a VSIP?

There are multitudes hanging on just for a possible incentive.  With the way things are going, if they'd announce tomorrow that there would definitely be no money given, there'd be a stampede for the exits.  Truth is they can't afford to lose too many employees until they're sure they can go ahead with plant closures in large numbers, otherwise we'd be hurting.  Many places are short staffed right now.

Which is exactly why there will be no money!
