I have very slow response time on Federal Soup.  Other web site don't have this problem.  Any suggestions on how to resolve.

Me too. Last week I had scripts trying to run every time I came to FedSoup. The scripts stopped but still slow response times.

Today response time is a little better than yesterday.  Pages still load slowly.  Sometimes the reply box does not work.

And I thought it was just my computer. I often have trouble posting when I hit "reply", but I have more success when I just use the instant reply box after the last post. Yesterday it was almost impossible to load even the website with both Firefox and IE.
Is there any way for the Fed. Soup site to get to the bottom of this ongoing problem?

Right now response time is much better, but it is almost 11 pm on a Friday night.  Maybe the problem is that the system is overloaded much of the week.

I didn't want to start another thread when this is a continuing problem. Tonight it is taking an extremely long time for the site to load and all forum pages as well, if at all. I do wish the webmaster could solve this issue once and for all.

You know I have only had one post deleted here, and that one was questioning the webmaster, and his or her abilities to address the multiple issues unique to this forum. I guess they are busy with other concerns.

Well, the site is extremely slow again. It takes a very long time for pages to load, if at all, depending on which browser you're using. I'm finding that it's slower with Firefox. I'm sure it will be back to normal later, but why doe this keep happening?Confused

I am guessing response time has something to do with the number of users on at one time and the quality of the users equipment. I suspect Monday morning is busier than a lot of other  times.

But this is probably only part of the problem.  We would appreciate it if Admin would investigate and resolve.

If this happens during normal business hours they will look at it. If it happens the other 160 hours a week you are on your own. These boards make money per click, and when the board is not working properly it generates more clicks, thus additional revenue.

Thank you for fixing the problem.  I have not had any problems for over a month.
