I'm not sure if this was just me or not but I noticed on my last paystub that there was a $1000 rate difference between week 1 and week two. I wouldn't have minded if it was a pay increase but it was a decrease. Both weeks are listed as level 2. Does anybody have any ideas why this happened?

Thanks

Are you sure you're not getting your weeks mixed up and you got a step increase in the latter week of the pay period?

Here's the latest pay chart...

Step increases are at the beginning of pay periods.

You know that for a fact D? Maybe it's changed in recent years?

Actually, I just figured out the answer to that 1. Each and every step increase is given on an even week basis. There are no odd numbered weeks.

Time between step increases are always even numbered weeks.  And since one always starts at the beginning of a pay period....

Maybe it's the new union dues rate!

Just kidding!

Can you check your eopf? It gives good info not seen on the stub.

Thanks for your responses. I recently went from level 1 to level 2 along with a bunch of other carriers and after a few months as a level 2 they dropped me down to a level 1 again. It was a mistake and they are on their way to fixing the problem. I think I need my eyes checked though because when I looked at my check again, I can see clearly that week 1 is level 2 and week 2 is level 1. Sorry for the confusion.
