Can someone confirm this.

In regards to calculating my FERS annucity supplement, I believe since I had prior active dury service that I"bought back", that time doesn't count towards my FERS annuity supplement.

I have 14 years active duty.  When I retire at 57/10mos with 33 years of service my supplement will be based on 19 years federal service vice 33. Even though I bought back those 14 years of FERS retirement.   Correct?

Your FERS special supplement will be calculated based on your years in the federal civil service.  Your military time will not count.  Based on what you've written above your FERS special supplement will be based on the 19 non-military federal years.

You FERS supplement should be about 19/40 of the estimate Social Security shows for age 62.  As stated above, military time will not count.
