Hello, hopefully someone can offer input this issue I'm having: I've worked as a CCA for nearly five months and I don't recall ever receiving a liteblue pin number. When I try to reset it on the website it says: "This service is temporarily unavailable. We apologize for any inconvenience this might cause." I've tried IE, chrome, and firefox. Is this only available during "business hours"??

I need to get this quickly since open enrollment closes December 10th!

I have not tried to do it on LiteBlue, but I think the old fashioned
way is still available.

How To Retrieve Your USPS PIN

The phone number for PostalEASE is: 1- 877-477-3273

To retrieve your USPS PIN follow these instructions:

    Dial 1- 877-477-3273

Press 1 when prompted, enter your Employee ID printed at the top of your earnings statement.

When prompted for your PIN, pause and then press 2. Your USPS PIN will be mailed to your address of record the next business day.

Good luck.

Thanks for the response. I tried that number and I get to the menu system but it doesn't respond when I press 1 and eventually just says "invalid number"   argh..

then you are going to have to call that number and wait for a live person.

I tried the phone number, and CAN go through the menu, using voice response. IE: "say one now....", then I say "one". It then asks for your Employee Identification Number (EIN), which it took. I did not go any further. Maybe try another phone, or computer?

If you have no luck through phone, ask your PM. Tell him it's urgent and that you need it for important reasons. Otherwise he might get back to you with it in a few monthsbearclaw992013-11-23 16:53:41

You can actually "force" a PIN. I've worked for the PO five times. Each time I get hired I get a new PIN. I like the old one. I'm used to it.

So the last time I was hired (as a CCA) I logged onto LiteBlue. Right above the login with your EIN is a link "forgotten your PIN? Click here to reset it". It will ask you a few questions that (supposedly) only you would know the answer to. Then select a new PIN. Voila!!
If you're going through Hell, keep going.

Blah, good news, I finally got the website to work. It was a simple fix but the website could have given a better prompt rather than just "service unavailable."

I went back to try resetting the pin again via the website and relized I'd only been putting in my 7 digit EID rather than an 8 digit one.. I added a zero in front of it and it worked! :)

Thanks everyone for the input responses!
