My eQUIP account was already established and my info was auto-filled in as well. Which was great because it took me so long to fill out the first time.

Has anyone had any experience negotiating and getting a higher step increase for the DI position?

I haven't heard about anyone having success or failing in requesting a higher step in their grade, but there has been previous comments in other forums of the past about it. I would look at it as be intelligent in your request and attempt to counter if you feel it's best. Be specific in why you are requesting a higher step and present facts, or be ready to if asked. Remember we do get relocation so that is a pretty nice perk, though I'm not sure what the standard is.

Also wanted to say I got my medical/physical/drug packet in email form. I'm sure others should be seeing theirs shortly.

Wanted to confirm that y'all had the same experience?

My tentative offer was an email with no links. Just to reply if you are accepting and want to go forward; confirm contact info.

Mine was a link to confirm as well as multiple onboarding forms with due dates on them

My tentative offer was the same as well. Just to confirm acceptance by a certain date. But I never received a confirmation of the response or any other follow up.

Does anyone know if they authorize PCS relocation costs to move to your first duty station?

Decided to inquire about "further instructions " after replying with acceptance of tentative offer over 2 weeks ago...needless to say I received an email with link to complete onboarding forms within an hour. Sometimes a nudge is needed, I guess!!

I submitted my onboarding forms on 11/8/2019. (08/2018 applicant) Emailed the HRRD mailbox this morning to confirm receipt and received a quick reply that "you completed all documents that we need from you at this time."

Awesome!

Were you given a timeline of when the drug/medical need to be completed?

Haha same. Left the office early today to drive an hour to do my urinalysis. Still awaiting when my medical and hearing tests will be.

For everyone else, once you get notice of the medical and drug testing, it'll have the timelines and specific instructions to follow.

Big congratulations to all of those who have started moving forward. I am still waiting for my conditional offer and for the paperwork for the next steps.

I did call HR earlier this week and asked about my status. It seems that my HR rep has just been inundated and just hasn't been able to send me the offer and onboarding steps yet. I am relieved to know that I am still in the running and just in limbo.

Again, congrats to everyone that has already moved forward and gotten their offers/onboarding forms.

Yes, and because I live in the dang boonies, it's a lot of back and forth and travel time. But I'm eager to keep moving forward! Is it the eQIP after the medical examination, or...? Also, does anyone know how the relocation thingie works? (Thingie, of course, being the technical terminology for said program.)

Yes, eQip will come after medical.

They do. It's mentioned in the vacancy announcement, and again in the mobility agreement.
